Fools rush in, and mortals sin. We fall so short of glory.
I seek your face. Long for your embrace, but I just feel so
far away. And mercy rushes in when I can no longer
stand. Mercy rushes in, and Love holds out His hand.
When I call to you and bow before your throne, it is then
that mercy calls me home. At least a hundred times a day
my heart denies Your name, And I'm reminded of the story.
Fall so far from grace. Afraid to see Your face. It is then that
mercy rushes in.
