Deuteronomy 33:12 ; Isaiah 26:3-4

I fight and I fight all the monsters in the night.
Demons behind the door threaten with their might.  
I stumble and I fall, brace myself against the wall.
I forget that I can call on the Saviour of my soul.
So I call and I cry river of tears from my eyes
surround the foot of your very throne,
Where I am held and called your own.
There in waves of grace your loving hand
wipes my face and lifts me up to your breast,
Where I am held in peace and rest.

And I'm safe. I will stand,
knowing that your mighty hand
will hold me close and draw me near.
You will banish all my fears.
You are my peace, my rock, my strength,
my hope, my Jesus, my Jesus.
